I am a PvEr and i have to say i like this update. I read alot about the problems in PvP and am happy that Anet is acctually starting to fix them i hope they keep it up.

To those that are complaining about this balance (not nerfs), because their super duper E/A raptor thingy dont work anymore. Learn to think of an alternative.

Death Pact Signet is still overpowered.

Glad to see Power Leak back, though.

It's not really about the rapter thing. It's just that the Storm, and Flame Djjns spells were the best ele running spells. Now that they're 25%, it was a major hit for some of us who relied on it. We only really have 1 more left; windborn speed. So, guess we might be using that now. Even if it's not nearly as good as Storm Djjn's was.

Well, at least for me. I never liked rapter farming because of stupid hard mode loot scaling crap, mass killing all at once never seemed like a good idea to me. Besides, ele swords dropped like 100k x ecto, to a laughable 10k value.

Windborne Speed? just doesn't last nearly as long, but it can be kept up as constant. At 0 Air, you have to stop, and recast every 5 seconds.

And this is why the average PvEr should not be allowed to have a say in skill balances, no offence.

/activate Flame shield
And, as usual, PvPers think they're the most important thing in the universe, no offence

These skills were blatantly nerfed for pvp reasons, as usual, since all Izzy cares about is PvP.

Frankly, this update doesn't really affect me, since I don't use any of those skills in PVE on a regular basis. But GG Anet at once again isolating even more of your current players. If some of us won't be seeing you in GW2, we know you'll understand.

So... Izzy should consider obscure farming builds when balancing the game, rather than balance sensitive GvG? oic

GvG is one of the places were balance actually matters. PvE is not affected by most skill balances - and farming is never a good reason for a skill to be kept. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

The ability of players to farm is at practically the highest it has ever been. Notice how prices of everything are low?

In summary, you don't understand how the game works.

i'm sorry - where did he say anything about farming?
hands down, every "balance" screws pvers.
pvp is not the only point of the game, but every update suggests it is.

Considering that balanced groups have never been damaged to a noticeable extent by skill balances in PvE, the only possible complaint is farming - unless you're short-sighted enough to only care about how 'pwnz' your character is.
